MiMi was born in Barcelona with the intention of creating a new space to spread Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual short films (LGBT).
We believe in the short format and we also want to make the festival a new annual event where the important ones are the moviemakers. So, in our first edition we will be in the most important european Gay and Lesbian festival, Circuit Festival, which will take place in Barcelona, August 2011.
Circuit Festival is the most festival in Europe directed by the LGBT community. This festival brings more than 55.000 people from all around the world every year, which let us work in front of a public that really appreciate and is sensitive to this kind of art.
We offer to our public a wide range of short stories with LGBT content from different countries, and we encourage them to discuss about their stories. MiMi is an event where the experimentation, the analysis, the participation and the humor are the most important part of our show.
All the short films lovers have a date this summer in Barcelona, and they are all invited to participate in this outstanding proposal; the first MiMi Lesbian, Gay , Bisexual & Transexual Short Film Festival.
